- Taken together, the three homes sleep up to 18 guests plus 4 infants for a family Christmas or a New Year gathering.
- Market Harborough switches on its Christmas lights at 7pm on Saturday 21 November 2026, about 10 to 15 minutes from the estate.

- Every home has underfloor heating, a full kitchen for Christmas dinner and breakfast basics waiting on arrival.
Christmas in the countryside is the reason many of our guests come back to Clipston year after year. Our three holiday homes stand together on a private 14-acre estate at Rectory Farm, on the border of Leicestershire and Northamptonshire, and the market town of Market Harborough is only 10 minutes’ drive away. In December you can walk the frosty fields in the morning, see the lights in town in the evening and come home to a warm house with the car parked by the door.
We built each home from a Victorian red-brick farm building on my family’s land: a stable, a barn and a dovecote. They suit very different Christmases, from a romantic week for two to a family gathering of eighteen, and they sit in some of the gentlest rolling farmland in England. If you are comparing country cottages in the UK for the festive season, this corner of the East Midlands gives you country houses, market towns and big city Christmas markets all within an hour.
We have gathered the Christmas and New Year events for 2026 and 2027 around the estate, the local food worth buying, the walks we take on Boxing Day and New Year’s Day, and a full description of each home. Every date comes from the organiser, the venue or the council running the event, and where 2026 details have not been published yet we say so. For a wider view of where we sit, our East Midlands countryside retreats page covers the area through the rest of the year.
Christmas Breaks in the UK Countryside: Why the Market Harborough Area Works

A countryside Christmas break works best when the quiet of the fields and the fun of the season are both close at hand. From Clipston, Market Harborough is about 6 miles away, Northampton about 16 miles and Leicester about 20 miles, so a lights switch-on, a carol service or a Christmas market never means a long drive in the dark. On the days in between, you can stay on the estate, light the oven and let the children play in the toy box.
The area is also full of country houses that dress up for December. Burghley House near Stamford holds one of the best-known Christmas fairs in England, Rockingham Castle runs festive workshops and a Christmas concert in its Great Hall, and Kelmarsh Hall, a few minutes up the road from us, advertises wreath making, a Christmas fair and festive open days. A Christmas break here mixes these special outings with long, slow days at home.
Travelling to Clipston is easy. Most guests drive, as we are about 10 minutes from junction 2 of the A14 and about 15 minutes from junction 20 of the M1, and there is free parking beside every home. Market Harborough station has direct trains to London St Pancras, Leicester and Nottingham, and London is about an hour away by train, which opens up New Year’s Eve in the capital too.
| Christmas break destination from Clipston | Approx. distance | Approx. drive |
|---|---|---|
| Kelmarsh Hall | 3 miles | 5 to 10 minutes |
| Market Harborough | 6 miles | 10 to 15 minutes |
| Northampton & Lamport Railway, Pitsford | 10 miles | 15 to 20 minutes |
| Foxton Locks | 8 miles | About 20 minutes |
| Northampton | 16 miles | About 30 minutes |
| Rockingham Castle | 19 miles | About 30 minutes |
| Leicester | 20 miles | About 40 minutes |
| Burghley House and Stamford | 35 miles | About 50 minutes |
| Birmingham | 47 miles | About 1 hour |
| Nottingham | 55 miles | 1 hour 10 minutes |
Drive times are measured from Rectory Farm, Clipston (LE16 9RF) on clear roads, and we would always add a little extra in December. With most outings under an hour, you can enjoy an afternoon out and still be back in time to put the turkey in or settle in for a Christmas film.
How Christmas Is Celebrated in the Market Harborough Countryside

Christmas in Market Harborough begins with the lights. According to the Harborough District Council events page, the Christmas Lights Switch On takes place on Saturday 21 November 2026 on The Square, with stalls and activities from 6pm to 9pm and the lights switched on at 7pm. The town’s tree is sponsored by Market Harborough Building Society, and the evening has a friendly, small-town feel, with families gathered in front of the old buildings.
After the switch-on, the council’s Christmas diary fills the weeks before Christmas. Fab Friday late-night shopping falls on 27 November, an Artisan Fair takes over The Square on 28 November, and there is a Christmas Fayre on 4 December, Small Business Saturday on 5 December and Farmers’ Markets on 3 and 17 December. Shop windows across the town compete in a festive window competition decided by public vote.
Church music is part of Christmas here too. St Dionysius, the parish church on Church Square beside the Old Grammar School of 1614, held an Advent Carol Service at 6pm on Sunday 30 November last year, and its 2026 Christmas services had not been published when we checked in October. The villages around us keep their own traditions, and Clipston has a village pub serving homemade food, so a drink by the bar after a carol service is a very local way to spend a December evening.
Where to See Christmas Lights Near Our Countryside Christmas Breaks
Three towns and cities close to the estate hold lights switch-on events in November. Market Harborough and Northampton both switch on their lights on Saturday 21 November, so you can see the Northampton countdown at 5pm and still reach Market Harborough for 7pm. Leicester switches on a week earlier, with a 35-metre Wheel of Light and a 44-foot tree by the Clock Tower.
| Christmas lights near Clipston | 2026 date | What to expect |
|---|---|---|
| Market Harborough, The Square | Saturday 21 November, 6pm to 9pm | Stalls and activities, lights on at 7pm |
| Northampton, Market Square | Saturday 21 November, 12pm to 6pm | Stage shows and stalls, countdown at 5pm, five spruce trees lit |
| Leicester, Clock Tower | Wednesday 18 November | 35-metre Wheel of Light and a 44-foot tree |
| Stamford, Red Lion Square | To be announced | Town Crier, the Mayor and school choirs in past years |
Best Christmas Markets Within Reach of a UK Countryside Christmas Break
If you love a Christmas market, you are spoilt for choice from Clipston. The country house fair at Burghley and the one-day market in Stamford suit couples and craft lovers, while Birmingham and Nottingham give you the full city experience with rides and bars. Market Harborough’s own Artisan Fair and Christmas Fayre are only a few minutes away.
Christmas markets near Clipston in 2026
- Burghley House Christmas Fair: 26 to 29 November, around 200 stalls, tickets in advance only.
- Stamford Christmas Market: Sunday 6 December, 10am to 4pm, more than 100 stalls.
- Birmingham Frankfurt Christmas Market: 5 November to 24 December in Victoria Square and New Street.
- Nottingham Winter Wonderland: 12 November to 31 December in Old Market Square, closed Christmas Day.
- Market Harborough: Artisan Fair on 28 November and Christmas Fayre on 4 December.
Leicester also holds a Christmas market each year, and in 2025 it ran along Gallowtree Gate from 19 November to 28 December, but the 2026 dates had not been confirmed when we checked. Burghley is the one to book first, because tickets are sold in advance only and there are no sales on the gate.
Traditional Christmas Food on a Countryside Christmas Break in Leicestershire

A traditional British Christmas dinner is a roast turkey with crisp roast potatoes, pigs in blankets, stuffing, Brussels sprouts, cranberry sauce and gravy, followed by Christmas pudding with brandy butter and a plate of mince pies. On a self catering Christmas break you set the pace yourself, and every one of our kitchens has a Siemens oven, an induction hob and a dishwasher, so cooking for six or eight is as easy as at home.
Leicestershire adds two famous foods of its own to the Christmas table. The Melton Mowbray pork pie has been made since at least the 1780s, with a hot water crust pastry raised by hand and a filling of uncured pork that cooks grey rather than pink, and it is perfect for a Boxing Day lunch. Stilton has carried Protected Designation of Origin status since 1996, which means it can only be made in Leicestershire, Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire, and a wedge of it with port and crackers is a classic way to end Christmas Day.
For local produce, Farndon Fields Farm Shop on Farndon Road in Market Harborough is our first stop. It has been family run since 1985 and grows more than 40 varieties of fruit and vegetables on its own farm, including its much-loved potatoes, with a bakery, groceries and a drinks cupboard in the shop and breakfasts, lunches and afternoon teas in the Farmer’s Kitchen. Its usual hours are 8.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Saturday and 10am to 4pm on Sunday, and its Christmas opening times had not been published when we checked.
A local Christmas shopping list
- A Melton Mowbray pork pie for Boxing Day lunch.
- A wedge of Stilton, made only in Leicestershire, Derbyshire or Nottinghamshire.
- Farm-grown potatoes and winter vegetables from Farndon Fields.
- Fresh bread and treats from local bakeries and the Farmers’ Markets on 3 and 17 December.
- Mince pies and mulled wine for the first evening.
If you would rather not cook on Christmas Day, many pubs and restaurants around Market Harborough serve a set Christmas lunch, and the best tables are usually booked by early autumn. We suggest you call them directly in October or November, ask for their 2026 menu and price, and keep Christmas Eve or Boxing Day for a relaxed meal at home with leftovers and local cheese.
Things to Do on Christmas Breaks in Leicestershire and Northamptonshire

A country house Christmas is one of the great pleasures of this part of England. Rockingham Castle, about half an hour from Clipston, closes for the main season but opens for a few festive events. Its Festive Wreath Making workshops run on Tuesday 1 and Wednesday 2 December 2026, at 10.30am to 12.30pm or 6pm to 8pm, cost £60 per person and include mulled wine and sweet treats in Walker’s House, with just 12 places per class. On Thursday 3 December the six-voice ensemble Mosaic sings Christmas choral music in the Great Hall from 7.30pm, with tickets at £19.50 including a welcome drink and a mince pie.
Kelmarsh Hall, the country house closest to us, finished its 2026 open season on 29 October, but it advertises wreath making, a Christmas Fair and festive open days, bookable through its website. The Burghley House Christmas Fair, from 26 to 29 November 2026, is a full day out with around 200 stalls, a Victorian carousel and late opening to 7.30pm on the Friday and Saturday. The house itself is closed during the Fair, and Althorp opens to visitors only in the summer months, so we would not plan a Christmas visit there.
| Country house Christmas 2026 | Dates | Price | From Clipston |
|---|---|---|---|
| Burghley House Christmas Fair | 26 to 29 November | Adult £15 standard, child £5 | About 50 minutes |
| Rockingham Castle Festive Wreath Making | 1 and 2 December | £60 per person | About 30 minutes |
| Mosaic in Concert at Christmas, Rockingham Castle | 3 December, 7.30pm | £19.50 | About 30 minutes |
| Kelmarsh Hall festive events | Dates on the Kelmarsh booking page | See the venue | 5 to 10 minutes |
Families with young children should not miss the Santa Specials at the Northampton & Lamport Railway, based at Pitsford & Brampton station, about 15 to 20 minutes from the estate. In 2026 they run on 29 November and on 5, 6, 12, 13, 19 and 20 December, with a present for every child, a sweet treat and a Fruit Shoot, and a glass of sherry and a mince pie for the adults on a ride of about 50 minutes. Breakfast with Santa runs on 12, 13, 19 and 20 December, and a pet-friendly Santa Paws day takes place on 28 November. Our page on staying near Kelmarsh Hall has more on the houses and gardens around us.
Winter Walks and Boxing Day on a UK Countryside Christmas Break

Boxing Day in the English countryside means a long walk, cold cheeks and a lunch of leftovers when you get home. You can walk straight from the estate across the 14 acres of fields and water, and the Loft even keeps wellingtons for the whole family and large umbrellas by the door. For a longer outing, three walks near Clipston are worth the short drive.
Foxton Locks, about 20 minutes away, is home to the longest staircase flight of locks in Britain, and the Grade II listed site has two pubs, two cafés and a museum in the old Boilerhouse. The long-stay car park (LE16 7RY) costs £3 for the day and is free after 5.30pm. The canal towpath on a frosty morning, with the locks rising up the hill, is one of the most beautiful winter scenes in Leicestershire.
The Brampton Valley Way is a traffic-free path of about 17 miles along an old railway line between Market Harborough and Northampton, opened for walking and cycling in 1993, with unlit tunnels where a torch is useful. A section is closed from 12 October 2026 to 12 February 2027 while Network Rail repairs a bridge, with walkers sent along footpaths to Mill Lane, so check the Walk Wheel Cycle Trust page before you set out. Burghley’s parkland near Stamford is listed as open daily from 7am until dusk, and its old trees make a fine Boxing Day walk.
Boxing Day walks near Clipston
- The estate itself: 14 acres of fields, trees and water from your front door.
- Foxton Locks: about 20 minutes away, with pubs and cafés at the top and bottom of the locks.
- Brampton Valley Way: about 17 miles of flat, traffic-free path, partly closed until 12 February 2027.
- Burghley Park: open daily from 7am until dusk, about 50 minutes away.
- Welland Park in Market Harborough: an easy town park for little legs.
New Year Breaks in the UK Countryside: New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day

New Year breaks in the countryside suit people who want to see the year out with friends and family rather than in a crowded bar. In The Barn, eight of you can cook a long dinner, open the 10-metre glass wall onto the courtyard at midnight and toast the New Year under a dark country sky. When we checked in October 2026, none of Leicester, Northampton or Birmingham had announced an official city-centre fireworks display, and West Midlands Police said last year that there were no official fireworks or city-organised events in Birmingham city centre on New Year’s Eve.
For the big fireworks, London is the nearest confirmed display. The Mayor of London lists New Year’s Eve 2026 for Thursday 31 December from 8pm, with the ticket release date still to be announced. Last year tickets cost £40 or £55 for visitors from outside London, depending on the viewing area, and you cannot attend without one, so treat it as a planned night out by train from Market Harborough.
New Year’s Day is made for a gentle walk and a long lunch. Our favourite short outing is Welland Park in Market Harborough, with its lake, trees and play area, or a stroll from the estate across the fields. Families with more energy can head to Foxton Locks or Burghley Park, while Leicester Cathedral’s Light of Stars installation runs until 5 January 2027 and Nottingham Castle’s Christmas season runs until 3 January 2027, closed on New Year’s Day.
| New Year break plan | New Year’s Eve | New Year’s Day |
|---|---|---|
| Families | Early dinner, board games and a countdown at home | Welland Park or a walk across the estate |
| Couples | Dinner for two at The Cottage with a soaking bath | Frosty walk at Foxton Locks and lunch at the canal pubs |
| Friends and large groups | Whole-estate dinner in The Barn for up to 18 | Burghley Park walk, open from 7am |
| City lovers | London fireworks, 31 December from 8pm, ticketed | Slow return by train to Market Harborough |
Christmas and New Year Breaks UK: Events Calendar 2026/27 Near Clipston

The festive season around Clipston starts in early November with the city markets and builds through the switch-ons, the country house fairs and the Santa trains to Christmas week. We have put every confirmed date into one calendar so you can plan your Christmas break around the events you most want to see.
| Date | Event | Place |
|---|---|---|
| 5 November to 24 December 2026 | Frankfurt Christmas Market | Birmingham |
| 12 November to 31 December 2026 | Winter Wonderland (closed Christmas Day) | Nottingham |
| Wednesday 18 November | Christmas lights switch-on | Leicester |
| Saturday 21 November | Christmas Lights Switch On, 6pm to 9pm | Market Harborough |
| Saturday 21 November | Christmas lights switch-on, 12pm to 6pm | Northampton |
| 26 to 29 November | Burghley House Christmas Fair | Near Stamford |
| Friday 27 November | Fab Friday late-night shopping | Market Harborough |
| Saturday 28 November | Artisan Fair; Santa Paws train | Market Harborough; Pitsford |
| 29 November to 20 December (weekends) | Santa Specials | Northampton & Lamport Railway |
| 1 and 2 December | Festive Wreath Making | Rockingham Castle |
| Thursday 3 December | Mosaic in Concert at Christmas; Farmers’ Market | Rockingham Castle; Market Harborough |
| Friday 4 December | Christmas Fayre | Market Harborough |
| Sunday 6 December | Stamford Christmas Market, 10am to 4pm | Stamford |
| Thursday 17 December | Farmers’ Market | Market Harborough |
| Thursday 31 December | New Year’s Eve fireworks from 8pm (ticketed) | London |
| Until 5 January 2027 | Light of Stars | Leicester Cathedral |
| 12 February 2027 | Brampton Valley Way section due to reopen | Market Harborough to Northampton |
The weekend of 27 to 29 November is especially good for a short Christmas break, because Burghley, the Market Harborough Artisan Fair, Santa Paws and the first Santa Special all fall within three days. The first weekend of December brings Rockingham’s concert, Market Harborough’s Christmas Fayre and the Stamford market together.
Ticketed events sell out, so we would book Burghley, the Rockingham workshops and the Santa trains first, then fit the free events around them. Kelmarsh Hall and Leicester’s market had not published 2026 dates when we checked, and both are worth looking up again in November.
Planning a Christmas or New Year break for 2026?
The Loft, The Barn and The Cottage sit together at Clipston, 10 minutes from Market Harborough, and can be booked on their own or together for up to 18 guests.
Check Christmas dates at The LoftCheck Christmas dates at The BarnCheck Christmas dates at The CottageChristmas and New Year Breaks at the 14 Acres Estate
Our three homes stand on a private 14-acre estate at Rectory Farm, Clipston (LE16 9RF), surrounded by rolling farmland. Each one was converted from a Victorian red-brick farm building, and each is booked on its own, so you have your own front door, your own kitchen and your own parking. We use solar power, air source heating and filtered well water, and every home has underfloor heating, air conditioning, fibre broadband and breakfast basics of bread, butter, jams, milk and cereal waiting when you arrive.
For Christmas, the practical details matter as much as the views. Each home has a full kitchen for Christmas dinner, a washing machine and tumble dryer for muddy walking clothes, Netflix and an Xbox for film nights, and self check-in with a personal door code if you arrive late. We normally welcome guests in person and are always happy to suggest restaurants, walks and Christmas events.

The Loft: Christmas Breaks for Families and Friends of Six
The Loft is our converted Victorian stable, clad in timber, with a glass balcony looking over the pond on the estate. You come in on the ground floor, where the laundry room is perfect for wet boots and coats, and climb the stairs to an open living space with a full-height triangular window onto the fields. On a December morning, with frost on the grass and the heating warm underfoot, it is a lovely place to start Christmas Day.
Both bedrooms have 180cm super king beds that can split into twins if you ask when booking, and both have their own en-suite with a walk-in power shower, plus a large bath in the family en-suite. There is a sofa bed in the lounge, Hypnos mattresses, Egyptian cotton linen and blackout blinds, which help on the long dark mornings after a late night. Families will find two baby cots, high chairs, a stair gate and a toy chest ready, along with Monopoly, Scrabble, an Xbox One and a popcorn maker for Christmas film nights.
The kitchen has a Siemens oven, induction hob, fridge freezer and dishwasher, so a full Christmas dinner for six is easy to cook. We also leave wellingtons for all the family and large golf umbrellas, which makes a Boxing Day walk across the estate a simple pleasure rather than a planning exercise.
The Loft at Christmas
- Sleeps 6 plus 2 infants, with a sofa bed in the lounge.
- 2 bedrooms with super king beds that split into twins, 2 en-suite bathrooms.
- 135 m², with a balcony over the pond and underfloor heating throughout.
- Baby cots, high chairs, toys, board games, Xbox One, Netflix and Disney+.
- Wellingtons for the family, free parking and a Type 2 EV charger.
- From £150 a night.
- Best for: a family Christmas for six or friends sharing New Year.
The Loft suits a family with children of any age or two couples who want their own bathroom and a little privacy at the end of a festive day. It is also the home closest to the pond, so the view from the balcony changes with every frost and every sunrise.
The Barn: Self Catering Christmas Breaks for Groups of Eight
The Barn is our largest home, a converted Victorian barn of 160 square metres for eight guests plus two infants. All three bedrooms have 180cm super king beds, one of which can split into twins, and there is a sofa bed in the living room. Everything is on one level, which grandparents appreciate at Christmas, and the family bathroom has a rain shower over a large bath.
The heart of The Barn is its open living room, kitchen and dining space, with a 10-metre folding glass wall onto a private courtyard garden. The kitchen has Corian worktops, a large Siemens convection oven, a combination microwave, a Quooker boiling water tap and a bean-to-cup coffee machine, which makes cooking Christmas dinner for eight far more relaxed. In the courtyard there is an outdoor kitchen with a gas barbecue for anyone who fancies a frosty New Year’s Day grill.
Children have their own corner too, with baby cots, high chairs, a toy chest, an Xbox One and family board games. There is free parking for up to four cars beside the house, so a family arriving from different parts of the country for Christmas has room for everyone.
The Barn at Christmas
- Sleeps 8 plus 2 infants, with a sofa bed in the living room.
- 3 bedrooms with super king beds, 2 bathrooms.
- 160 m², all on one level, with a 10-metre glass wall onto the courtyard.
- Large Siemens oven, Quooker tap and bean-to-cup coffee machine.
- Free parking for up to 4 cars and an EV charger.
- From £199 a night.
- Best for: a family Christmas dinner for eight or a New Year’s Eve party at home.
The Barn is the natural choice when three generations want to spend Christmas Day around one table. With everything on one level and four parking spaces outside, it is also the easiest home for older relatives to arrive at and settle into.
The Cottage: Romantic Christmas and New Year Breaks for Two
The Cottage is our converted Victorian dovecote, 65 square metres for up to four guests, with views over the rolling hills. Upstairs, the open-plan master suite has a 180cm super king bed that can split into two singles, a reading area, a walk-in rain shower and a soaking bath, which is exactly where you want to be after a cold walk on Boxing Day.
Downstairs, the living and dining room has a deep green velvet sofa that opens into a double sofa bed, a dining table for four and a smart TV with Netflix and an Xbox. The kitchen has a Siemens oven, a combination microwave, an induction hob and a Nespresso machine, plenty for a Christmas dinner for two or a small family. Outside, a private dining deck with a gas barbecue looks over the fields.
The Cottage is also ready for little ones, with a travel cot, a high chair, a stair gate and children’s plates and cutlery. Blackout blinds and shutters upstairs and down make late mornings easy after New Year’s Eve.
The Cottage at Christmas
- Sleeps 4, with a double sofa bed in the living room.
- 1 bedroom with a super king bed that splits into singles, 1.5 bathrooms.
- 65 m², with a soaking bath and a walk-in rain shower.
- Private dining deck with a gas barbecue and countryside views.
- Travel cot, high chair and an EV charger.
- From £119 a night.
- Best for: couples, a romantic New Year or a small family Christmas.
The Cottage is our most romantic home, and couples often book it for the days between Christmas and New Year. It also works well for a small family Christmas, with the sofa bed downstairs for a child or a visiting friend.
The Whole Estate: Christmas Cottage Breaks for Large Groups of up to 18
When the whole family wants to be together, you can book all three homes for exclusive use of the estate. Together The Loft, The Barn and The Cottage sleep 18 adults and children plus up to 4 infants, in six bedrooms across three separate buildings. Everyone gathers in The Barn for Christmas dinner, and each household still has its own kitchen, bathrooms and front door for a quiet breakfast the next morning.
Large group Christmas and New Year breaks work beautifully here because the homes sit a short walk apart on private land, with parking beside each one and 14 acres to explore between them. Grandparents can take the single-level Barn, a family with young children The Loft, and a couple The Cottage, and nobody has to share a bathroom on Christmas morning.
Whole estate for Christmas or New Year
- Sleeps 18 plus up to 4 infants across The Loft, The Barn and The Cottage.
- 6 bedrooms, three kitchens and three separate front doors.
- Christmas dinner for 8 at one table in The Barn, with more space in the other homes.
- Private 14-acre estate with parking beside every home.
- Book each home through its own button for the same dates.
To take the whole estate, book each of the three homes for the same dates using the buttons with each property, or message us and we will help you check availability across all three. Christmas and New Year weeks for the whole estate are the first dates to go, so groups should plan as early as possible.
How to Book Christmas Breaks in the UK: Practical Tips for 2026
Christmas and New Year are the busiest weeks of our winter, and the larger homes are usually the first to go. If you have set dates in mind, especially for a group that needs The Barn or the whole estate, we would book as early as you can and then plan your events around the stay.
Next, book the ticketed events. Burghley sells timed tickets in advance only, the Rockingham wreath workshops have 12 places per class, and the Santa Specials and Breakfast with Santa have a limited number of tables. Christmas Day lunch in a local pub also needs an early booking, while the lights switch-ons and markets are free to walk around.
Christmas break checklist
- Book your home first, then the Burghley Fair, Rockingham workshops and Santa trains.
- Order your turkey and Christmas food from a local farm shop or butcher in good time.
- Keep the evening of Saturday 21 November free for the Market Harborough lights at 7pm.
- Check the Brampton Valley Way closure before planning a walk on it.
- Pack wellies, waterproofs and warm layers for Boxing Day and New Year’s Day walks.
- Watch for London New Year’s Eve ticket releases if you want to see the fireworks.
Check-in is from 4pm, and with self check-in by personal door code a late arrival after a day on the road is no problem. Breakfast basics are already in the kitchen, so on your first morning you can have toast and coffee before heading to the farm shop for the Christmas food.

A Note from Susan
“Rectory Farm is my family home, and Christmas here has always meant frosty walks across the fields, the lights going on in Market Harborough and everyone around one big table. We love seeing families arrive for the holidays and settle in as if they had lived here for years.”
